One of the Mayfaire Banana Republic's restroom's doorstops somehow managed to break out of its setting. After about an hour of work, we reset the restroom doorstop and fixed the surrounding tile, so that the door will no longer hit the wall when opened. The job was quick and simple, and the store manager was pleased!

Customer who hired us to remodel his trailer's bathroom also hired us to complete various handyman jobs, such as nailing up new wall panels in the hallway and master bedroom and screwing a metal panel to the exterior. The jobs were quick and simple. Where the hallway's studs were weak, we installed new studs and strengthened the existing studs. From there, we nailed up the paneling. We did the same in the master bedroom. On the exterior, we screwed up the metal panel and made sure it was waterproof. No real issues were encountered, and the time involved was less than an hour.

Customer needed a bathroom completely remodeled in one of his trailer. Not only was the bathroom unsightly, parts of the floor were actually rotten and needing repair. First, we demoed the bathroom by taking out the existing cabinet, sink, toilet, and tub and tearing up the floor. We also cut out the rotten parts of the floor. Next, we repaired the floor by laying down new 3/4" plywood. Per Customer's request, we nailed down gluon and glued linoleum on top of it across the entire bathroom floor. Also, since the hot water heater was in the bathroom, we framed a new closet for it at the same time. Our final step was to install the new features. We set the bathtub up on stilts and covered up the resulting space under the tub. Next, we installed the sink and cabinet. As the walls around the tub needed some drywall work done, we sheetrocked and mudded the walls. After the drywall, we glued a new tub enclosure to the recently updated walls. As an added note, we plumbed and installed new water lines to everything in the bathroom. The existing water lines broke nearly every time we attempted to use them, so we had to replace them when that happened. However, due to the complexity of the project taking place in an old trailer, there was no single step for plumbing the bathroom. For example, when we installed the bathtub, we installed the lines from the hot water heater to the shower but not from the heater to the main line. We installed the water lines at various times throughout the project whenever it was possible to do so. Customer was so pleased with the time and looks of our work, he gave us two more projects at the same time.

Customers needed their old screened-in porch rescreened and repainted. First, we removed the existing trim and screen. While it was still off, we repainted the trim and let it dry before renailing it. Next, we rescreened the porch and reattached the trim to their appropriate locations (each board was specific to a single spot). We touched up any spots on the trim that needed paint and also painted parts of the porch, the stairs, and the lattice which was under the porch. All-in-all, the project was relatively simple, taking only a couple days to finish. Matching the paint to the existing vinyl on the house was the most challenging aspect; but with help from a color wheel and Customers' approval, the paint was matched. Customers were completely satisfied.

Customer wanted to update the exterior appearance of a double wide trailer by installing new vinyl siding. Due to the simplicity of the shape of the trailer, we installed the siding with relative ease. First, however, we nailed up the metal flashing, installed the soffits, and trimmed out around the windows and doors. From there, we installed the siding all around the house, and even behind the porches. After the major work was done, we installed a new door and handled some minor issues, like installing exterior receptacle covers and the dryer vent. Performing the work was not necessarily difficult, but rain prevented us from completing the project in a timely manner. On the other hand, after the job was completed, the vinyl siding made the trailer look brand new.

Customer wanted an old aluminum sliding glass door replaced with a brand new one pvc one. We took out the original door and set the new one. Due to a difference in sizes between the two doors, there was a large gap between the threshold and new door; so we installed wood in the gap to thoroughly set it. After leveling, squaring, and making sure the door was properly installed, we placed new molding around it on the outside and reused the original molding on the inside. Finally, we caulked the seams between the pieces of molding and finished the job.

Customer had an extremely dilapidated shed that desperately needed to be torn down before it hurt someone and wanted a new shed built on the foundation. First, we tore down the old shed and built the frame for the new one. Next, we framed the roof. We installed the exterior walls and finished the roof. After the roof was finished, we installed new shingles, vinyl that matched the trailer on the same lot, and installed the soffit and facial. To round up the project, we installed doors made of T1-11 board and a lock. The only obstacle faced during the shed's construction was inclimate weather, but it quickly passed. The shed was sturdily built and will survive at any more weather to come.

Customer who hired us to remodel the trailer bathroom also hired us to install a new laminate countertop in the trailer's kitchen. We first removed the old countertop and ensured the cabinets were level, so we could continue. We added wood to where the cabinets were weak and then laid the new counters on top. After all was leveled and we joined the corner pieces together, we cut out a hole for the new sink, installed it, and tightened it to the countertop. To finish the job, we installed the faucet fixtures and new lines and chaulked between the countertops and the walls. The job took less than three hours total to complete. Customer was very pleased with our work.

Customer needed a flight of steps built from existing porch to second story of garage and out of leftover materials. The previous contractor set up the two 6x6s but suddenly left, and we took over where he left off. First, we set up the deck and anchored it to its location on the garage. From there, we attached the step treads on 12" centers to the deck and porch. We then made the steps and flooring on the deck. To round out the job, we made handrails around the steps and deck. The job was fairly straightforward with the only problems being caused from warped 2x12s. Customer was highly satisfied by the looks, cost, and speed of project.
