The clients wanted an outbuilding that would provide space for indoor athletics and an auxiliary space for entertaining. We constructed a post and beam "barn" structure that houses a basketball court in the main section, and an intimate "porch" room with a fieldstone fireplace.

Feb 2011

This gracious Shingle Style home had an outdated and inefficient kitchen from the 1970s. Working closely with the clients, we designed and carried out a timeless kitchen renovation that maximized storage space and created an efficient working zone, while featuring classic architectural details.

Apr 2010

Restored a ca. 1870 Second Empire style home that was in complete disrepair. The entire house was lifted so that the failing foundation could be removed and replaced. After the house was set back down, a new addition was constructed at the rear of the main house. The addition is three levels: garage, kitchen/family room, and bedroom suite. Historic Renovation

Jan 2008

This ca. 1930 home had an attic space over the kitchen that was unuable due to a lack of headroom. The roof was rebuilt to provide more headroom but, because the house is in a historic district, the raised roof looks as if it were originally built this way. The work is seamless. The added space allowed a new Master Suite on the second floor. The first floor rooms were also renovated.
