Hi Gary, thank you for posting your review. The store did not have the materials that you had chosen which was the lower end price and quality. The owner then texted you to choose a different material which would be of higher quality and price and could result in an increase of up to $100 more than the original estimate. The materials you ended up choosing cost more money and we only wanted to charge you for that price difference. You then replied to the wrong phone number, which ended up being the Porch direct line which created confusion because we never received the message you stated to stay on budget. All you needed to do was reply to the number you received the text from. You got confused and started replying to the Porch number. And to clarify the 3 phone numbers situation, 1 was through the Porch portal, the other was the owner texting you directly and the other one was our company's direct cell. But how were we supposed to do the work for you if the materials you originally wanted were out of stock and nothing else in the store had a similar price tag, not to mention that those materials were on a 3-week back order? Regardless of all of this, we never charged you anything more than the original estimate and you ended up receiving a higher quality product for the cost of a much lower quality one and we ended up taking the financial hit. The entire job took us less than 3 hours to complete because of the work ethic our workers have in completing a job properly and efficiently, so we never saw any messages that you had sent on the Porch portal! Despite ALL this, you mention the great work our employees did and yet you're still unsatisfied in the end? I'm truly sorry to hear that as we did everything in our power to satisfy you as we would with any other customer. USA Pro Floors
