The response to the other review on here isn't very professional. They're simply blaming the tenant. I've been living in a place managed by ELink Realty for 3 months now, and I already can't wait for the lease to expire. First off, I had to wait to move in until they fixed the heater. When I moved in, they still had not fixed the heater. I couldn't even live in it for a week, when they provided a space heater. It took another month before the heater got fixed. I had filled out 3 maintenance requests (for 3 different broken things) that never got checked, it wasn't until I texted somebody angrily that they were finally addressed. I mentioned another issue recently, they said to fill out the maintenance form again. I said I wasn't going to fill out the maintenance form because nobody checks them...the next day I got an email about the 3 prior maintenance requests asking to schedule them (They were fixed over a month ago) so I know they were never read until now. A new tenant moved into the house attached to my studio recently. The new tenant was pissed, because they hid the fact that I lived there from the tenant. This new tenant was expecting to have the entire property to themselves and their family. They told me that if they had known, they wouldn't have rented the place...but by the time they found out about me they'd already signed, paid, and were moving in. They seem nice, but this makes the whole situation uncomfortable for all of us. This management company is terribly organized, and lazy. (Though they're quick to shoot me an email when I owe them money!) When my lease is up, I'm going to hit the ground running. UPDATE: On moving out, they tried to charge me $25 each for nail holes (Spackle is expensive these days) despite the fact that my move-in paperwork clearly states that there were nail holes. The place was a dump to start with, but it was close to work so I dealt with it. On top of this, they tried charging $250 for "cleaning". The place was 150 square feet at best (a tiny studio with an attached bathroom). I did clean the place before I left, there is no way they found $250 worth of things to clean. On top of that, I had forgotten to replace two lightbulbs. When I moved in, they were all flourescent. They charged me for LEDs. The total invoice suspiciously came out to almost exactly the amount of my security deposit. Coincidence be damned, I'm taking them to court.
