About Eclipse Services
I decided to take the "old school" approach to service into the Handy Man and Maintenance business. I am comfortable using the newest technology when it is needed, but my work ethic is much more "old fashioned." We focus on Quality not quantity, we guarantee you will love our work. I started framing houses with my uncles when I was 13, and have been in construction ever since. I spent time as a property manager taking care of residential and commercial properties form many different investors. I have experience in all building trades to one degree or another, I learned these skills by working with a lot of extremely talented craftsmen over the years that were willing to share their knowledge.

I needed help installing my dishwasher due to the fact that I couldn't figure out how to fit it into the space. He was really helpful and really patient with my dogs being in the way sometimes. It was a really nice experience we talked about homebrewing and the dishwasher looks really good where it's at

I have my own Painting business, Elegant Design. Whenever I have a customer that needs something other than painting I use Darick for all these projects. He has done electrical, plumbing and drywall work for me on many occasions with excellent results. I recommend him to my clients whenever I can.

We have multiple rental properties that Darick has repaired and some he has helped us restore. He has done a bit of everything for us, Electrical, Plumbing, Vent Repair, even replacing the entire sub-floor in a house that was flooded. That same house needed all new drywall in 4 rooms and he had it hung in less than a day and had the first coat of finish on them shortly thereafter. We continue to use him whenever we have projects.

We hired Eclipse Services when we moved into our current home - Darick installed ceiling fans & canned lighting inside, he finished our garage with peg board, trim & hanging shelves. He can do anything, ... Even assisting us in our antenna placing in the roof & internet issues. He is a true "Handy Man". He takes pride in his work & most importantly cleans up after finishing the project. We are pleased with his work & will continue to employ him for future projects.

  | New water line brought in under the footing | Mar 2016 | This client needed a new water line brought in from the trench the excavator dug under the footing and into the basement. I cut out the concrete and dug down below the footing and tunneled between a sewer line, gas line, and some major tree roots to get it in place. It is attached to the wall with custom 2x4 brackets to support a shut off and pressure regulator. Then some back filling and concrete to finish it up. | $450 | Herriman, UT |
  | Fixing an unsafe landing | Mar 2016 | My client bought this house and it has had existing tenants. The garage has a landing coming in from the house with a 3 foot drop that had no railing on it at all. I installed a wall to box in the top of the landing and to add storage space for the tenant. I also added a sturdy handrail to the bottom of the stairs. This is a lower rent property and the garage is more of a storage area so this project was just done with 2x4s and Plywood with a couple coats of clear poly to keep the wood in good shape and prevent splinters. Not the most beautiful solution but it does make the landing safe at a low cost to the homeowner and add some benefits to the tenants. | $350 | Provo, UT |
