BEWARE of Honey Doos. I wish that I could give Bill at Honey Doos zero stars. I had an exterior door frame that allowed water to get inside the house when it rained. I got on porch.com to find a handyman to fix a frame on the back porch of my rent house. Bill called me immediately and suggested a fix that we both agreed would be economical and would work. My tenant could not be home until after 5 pm on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 and Bill stated that he could make it at that time. Everything seemed fine until 5 pm came around and then 5:30 and then 5:40. I called the number that Bill had contacted me from and got someone else. This guy knew Bill and gave me Bill's real phone number. Bill answered the phone and he sounded like a wreck. He said that he was going to be late. I told him to take care of himself first and to get there when he could. Bill showed up and told my son that after his day and what happened to him, he didn't feel like doing this job. Bill just left without saying a word. Bill then called me up to tell me that he would not be doing the job. I was disappointed because I really needed the door fixed. We had been receiving a lot of rain in the past weeks and my tenants were getting upset because the water had been coming in the house because the frame needed repair. I attempted to ask Bill if he could do it another day, perhaps tomorrow when he could regain his composure. Bill began to yell at me and told me not to give him any lip. Bill further told me that he is closing down his business. Lesson here is do not use Bill. I would not hire Bill to do even the simplest of jobs because he is unreliable, unprofessional and has no problem at all with leaving someone high and dry.
