This master bedroom was made over from floor to ceiling and everything in between. New flooring, paint, furniture, lighting, window treatments, decor and artwork were selected. The television was the only item to make the transition into the new design. The stylish furniture was selected to fit precisely in the space and meet the storage demands. All the elements came together creating a peaceful energy for relaxation.

The goal of the design was to transform a small bedroom into a functional home gym incorporating three pieces of workout equipment and using the homeowners sports memorabilia. The memorabilia was separated by sport and creatively arranged on the walls. The room features a massive floor mirror on one wall which is practical to have in a gym and also helped open up the room.

This master bedroom was renovated from floor to ceiling with the exception of the existing wood blinds. To complete the window coverings valances were added to the blinds. A subdued color palette was selected to create a calming environment for relaxation. The wall color is Sherwin Williams "On The Rocks". His and her dressers fit perfectly in the space allowing for necessary storage. The dual purpose bench created seating and extra storage space.

Although the client did not like the existing cabinetry their budget would not allow for cabinetry or flooring to be replaced. We enhanced the cabinetry by adding crown molding and hardware. Changing the appliances was absolutely necessary. We selected a counter top that compliments the cabinets and stainless steel appliances. The glass tile back splash is the show stopper of the kitchen. This design allowed the existing cabinetry to work with the other kitchen components to create a cohesive look that pleased the client.

Replacing the tile floor was not in the budget of this remodel. New paint, cabinets, cabinet pulls, countertops, tile back splash, faucets, sink and appliances transformed this worn out kitchen. It is important to make sure all the new finishes match whatever existing finishes are staying when doing a renovation.

Inspiration can come from anywhere. In this room the mountain views outside inspired the design. The goal was to have a contemporary yet comfortable and serene family room that flowed seamlessly through to the dining area and kitchen. This was achieved through color and artwork.
