Measure Twice Remodeling and Repair Services

The customer had an older China cabinet that she wanted to have remodeled into a wine hutch after a Pinterst project that she found. She wanted to take and old hutch and have it now hold wine glasses from the top, have 3 shelves. change out the backing, and have it repainted then sanded to have a "vintage vibe" I had to remove the 2 glass panels and the 2 glass doors off of the frame, then sand them down. I also had the backing removed because she wanted older fence panels to be the new backing. From there I handcrafted a wine bottle holder out of and old panel to hold 11 bottles of wine at the bottom of the hutch. It wasn't in the original picture but I thought it was a great idea and recommended it to the client and she liked it as well. I made it to where the bottles were able to be displayed at the angle. I also took the old panels of fence to build the wine glass holder from the top. That way if you were to look from the bottom up you would see 6 rows to hold glasses. I also had a light installed at the top of the hutch. I added wood decoration to the corners to give it more of the flare that she was looking from. I painted the furniture in the white that she picked out and then sanded it so it had the vintage feel she was looking for. It took me 3 days to complete the project, to allow the paint to dry properly.

Customer wanted to remodel an older mirror that she had for her wine room. So I sanded the old frame down, repainted it to the color that she asked for, then I took A LOT of wine corks and cut them in half and glued them onto the mirror. Customer was able to provide the corks, so that cut down on costs. I then hung the mirror for her.

Customer had an old door that she wanted to make into a headboard for her bedroom. I took the door, gave it a good 2 coats of shellac paint so it wouldn't chip, then I added a hand build frame to keep it in place. Then i assembled and added the queen sized frame rails and had the job finished in half a day, after I let the paint dry overnight. I also noticed that the door knob on the old door was about to fall off so I repaired that for her as well, for free.

Complete transformation of master bathroom. Removed wall paper and replaced with skip trowel texture. Demo old shower pan and framed glass to frame-less. Built half-wall.
