We rented from Celski and Associates for a little over a year and had numerous problems. They were often really slow about responding to maintenance requests and kept showing up without giving notice, including scaring me by being in the backyard without warning while I was taking a nap. When our air conditioner went out during the heat wave in July our property manager Jennifer June straight up lied to me and told me she had called to make an appointment to get it fixed, but she never did. We waited 5 days without AC in over 100° weather before having to call her boss to get something done. Finally we had problems with our deposit when we moved out. When we moved in they told us the owner would pay to have the lawn taken care of or take money off our rent to do it. Then it changed and they said we needed to take care of it and wouldn't get money off, but the owner would provide a lawn mower, which we agreed to. Then they changed it again and said we needed to provide a lawn mower, which we refused to do. Mind you, none of this was in the lease, the lease doesn't mention the yard at all. Also, when we moved in the yard was a giant mess of weeds. I sent pictures to the property manager asking how we were supposed to maintain the yard when it was all weeds, and mow the grass when there was no grass. She said she needed to talk to the owner about what to do, AND THEN NEVER TOLD US WHAT WE NEEDED TO DO ABOUT THE YARD. I repeatedly asked about the yard, and how we should be maintaining it, and never got an answer, and then was charged for it when I moved out. And when we asked Celski about it they took a month to answer and then were rude.

When we signed the lease Celski agent Jennifer June told us the landlord would take care of the yard or take $50/ month off the rent and have us do it. Once we moved in she said the landlord (illegally) decided we should do it for free, but he would buy us a mower. He never bought the mower. When we moved in the "yard" was nothing but rocks and 3ft tall weeds. We never touched the yard, and now that we moved out they have (again illegally) taken an extra $100 dollars from our deposit for the yard. We have documentation that we were promised not to have to take care of the yard, and our lease says nothing whatsoever about the yard. I have tried three times to get my money back, but Jason Celski has (quite rudely and without explanation) refused. They flat stole our money. While living there we told them we would not allow anyone at our home without us present, and that we expected the legally required two days notice. They repeatedly ignored this and sent workers to the house without notifying us many times. Once my wife had a panic attack when she was taking a nap in our bedroom only to be woken up by male voices outside our sliding glass door. During the worst heat wave of the year our ac broke and they refused to fix it until I had to miss a day of work to go sit in their office until they got it fixed. We were without ac for 9 days, which is a feature of the house we rented. They refused to prorate our rent, even though I never would have rented a house with no ac. All in all they were the worst landlords I've had.
