Are your wood gates dragging the ground, not opening properly, warped, or just falling apart? Unfortunately, the pressure treated wood that is available nowadays is sub-standard at best. Most of what is available is already bent and warped at the store. And the a large percentage is still wet when you buy it. When the wood starts to dry out, it will bend with the grain of the wood and leave you with a warped gate. It will also shrink leaving gaps in the wood joints. Regardless of how well it is constructed, and how straight it is when built, most gates will sag or warp with time and exposure to the elements. And adding the cable system to try and straighten it back out is only a temporary fix at best. Luckily, there is a solution to help reduce the sagging and warping that happens over time. As you can see from the pictures below, this gate has seen better days. It was well constructed and probably straight and functional for several years. But Mother Nature had taken a toll on the gate and was beyond repair, as it had been repaired previously. For this project we installed a metal gate frame system that allows the use of wood so it still matched the look of the original gate from the outside. The metal gate frame system allows for a MUCH sturdier gate that will outlast any wooden gate. And it also uses a very heavy duty hinge pin system that is installed inside of the gate, as opposed to the visible hinges on most wooden gates that rust so quickly. The hinge system will not rust and will not bend, and there are no visible hinges from the outside. This gate also weighs less than the original all wood gate because there is less wood being used for the frame and diagonal cross bracing. This homeowner recently completed a remodel of their bonus room that included hardwood floors. The downstairs floors are cork, but the stair connecting the two were still the original carpet. We removed the carpet, padding, and tack strips to get down to the original construction grade stairs. The original stairs were made from pressed wood (OSB), and were not able to be made presentable. So we installed new oak stair treads, oak risers, oak plank flooring on the landings, and oak trim. This is a great way to add value to your home for a lot less than you think.

We ahd a homeowner call us concerning their garage door. They informed us that their garage door was stuck open and would not close. They had purchased a new garage dooe system and wanted it installed, When we arrived we checked the existing motor and noticed that the motor was fine. The problem was the plastic gears inside the motor were stripped. We called the custiomer and advised them that we could repair the existing motor instead of installing a new system. They agreed that it would be better to repair the one that they had. We installed the new gears and adjusted the settings as needed. The customer was happy that we were able to repair the existing motor and they were able to return the new one that they thought they needed.This saved the customer about $280.00

Customer called about a roof leak. When we arrived, we noticed that the roof looked great, but had some silicon caulk on the shingles and siding. We removed the vinyl siding on the right side of the area and found water damage. This led us to remove all of the vinyl siding in this area, along with a few shingles. What we found was a flashing issue. It was made worse by thee previous homeowner trying to "repair" it by putting silicone caulk on the shingles and siding in this area. Not only did the caulk not fix it, he actually made it worse. We showed the current homeowner the damage and proceeded to correct the problem. We removed the rotted wood and repaired the damaged area. We the re-flashed the area properly and installed underlayment and new shingles in this area. After removing all of the caulk and cleaning the siding, we reinstalled the siding.

Customer called with several water stains popping up after a hard rain. We arrived at the property to find all of the roof boots dry rotted. We removed and replaced all of the roof boots with no shingle replacement necessary, saving the customer the added expense of replacing shingles. Roof boots are normally the first part of a roof to need replacing. Call us todat and we will inspect your for free.

Customer called and had noticed some mold growing inside of his small shed in his back yard. We arrived and noticed that a tree limb had fallen and put a hole in the roof. Because the homeowner did not see the tree limb, he did not know it was leaking. We removed the shingles and decking, replaced decking, and installed new shingles.

This an example of our new Home Construction. We built this home in Grimesland NC. This home was planned at 2697 square feet. After the framing was completed, the homeowner decided to make the most of the space that was currently planned to be second floor attic space. The house ended up at 3282 square feet and still had walk in attic space on the second floor and a third floor walk up.
