I noticed that water was leaking from the bottom of my disposal and it appears to be coming from the area where the wire from the electrical hookup (hardwired) is located. The screw where the drip appears to be coming from has an orange tint - so assuming it is rusted. At this time the garbage disposal only hums when turned on.
