  | Urban Chic Double Bathroom Remodel | Jan 2014 | Major remodel and modern updating of two existing bathrooms. The stylized urban chic interior design lends to a sleek but inviting feel. Carefully choosen elements like frameless showerdoors, and enlongated tiles increase the perceived size and comfort of the bathrooms. A Construction Waste Management Plan was incorporated into even this small project that called for Deconstruction rather than Demolition. 95% of Deconstructed materials, including all of the reclaimed tile, were diverted from the landfill waste stream to be reused in other projects. Watersense and Energy Star appliances and fixtures were specified and installed along with Low/No VOC paint. All toilets in house were replaced with Watersense Label High Efficiency Toilets (HET) that use either 1.28gpf or 1.0gpf. All bath faucets are also Watersense Labeled and Certified Lead Free. Energy Star WhisperQuiet Bath fans were installed to evacuate humidity and odors, contributing to better indoor air quality. | $40k | Matawan, NJ |

We installed beautiful white cabinetry with Mocha Glaze that picked up details from the surrounding Arts and Crafts style home. A number of diverse artisans transformed this basic stock home into an interior designers treasure trove. Specialized techniques were used to apply multilayer sheetrock turning a functional building material into an artistic expression.
