Ironwood Builders originated in 2010 and established by Andrew Pouchnik. Andrew's vision was to create a building and remodeling company that would utilize his decade plus of specialized experience to build and remodel homes with perfection, integrity and a "wow" factor. Ironwood Builders has been doing just that ever since. Ironwood Builders is a full service design/build contracting firm. We specialize in remodeling, renovations, additions, specialty outdoor work and new home construction. With over ten years of general contracting experience, Andrew Pouchnik has personal oversight on all construction operations of the company. We met Andy Pouchnik/Ironwood Builders at the Milwaukee NARI show in early 2014 and asked for a consultation on converting our unfinished basement into finished living space. The space is not an extremely large area, and a high priority was placed on maximizing the functionality and design features of the space. From the beginning we were impressed with Andy's knowledge and ideas, and his willingness to spend the time to get it right, to be sure it was what we wanted. The Ironwood employees and subcontractors sent by Ironwood were all top notch in terms of professionalism and getting the job done. The quality of the work speaks for itself. We are very, very happy with how the space turned out and we have had nothing but rave reviews from neighbors and friends. We really enjoy our new, finished space. Also included in the project was a finished laundry, also on the lower level, which is not included in posted photos. It is just as amazing as the larger living space. Whatever your remodeling needs, I would definitely talk to Andy Pouchnik/Ironwood Builders. We feel we were very fortunate to meet Andy at the NARI show because of the level of detail and attention that went into building our project; I don't think we would have the fantastic space that we do, had we gone with another contractor. Thumbs up to Ironwood Builders!!
