Attic Fan Installation

Jun 2016

This customer wanted an attic fan installed in their attic. So, we ordered one and did the installation. We install attic fans regularly, and recommend them for all households. Attic fans cool not only your attic, but help keep your upstairs cooler, so your air conditioner will be able to run more efficiently. Besides keeping cool, attic fans help preserve your housing structure by preventing moisture damage. When your attic gets real hot, it is susceptible to heat and moisture, which can cause wood rot and distorting roof shingles. Don't let shingle or roof damage become a reality. Invest in an attic fan to save money from potential roofing costs.

TV Mounting

Jun 2016

This customer wanted their television mounted above a fireplace on the wall without visibly seeing any wires sticking out, and with minimal holes needed for the electrical installation part. And we delivered that with expertise, and cleanliness. To do this particular tv wall mounting installation, we installed the customer supplied TV wall mount bracket attached to studs behind it. The recessed box and HDMI low voltage box were cut out behind dry wall as cords were attached from the TV. Power was taken from an existing circuit on the far right. Notching and patching through the studs were done as needed.

Generator Interlock Kit

May 2016

Customer needed a hookup for his new home generator, and called us to install a generator interlock kit. A generator interlock kit is a device that allows you to power on your generator through your home’s electrical wiring system. Unlike a transfer switch, an interlock kit allows you to provide power to anything in your home, since it isn’t just limited to 6-8 circuit breakers. An interlock kit is a system of slide plates that goes directly onto your existing main electrical panel. Just like a transfer switch, an interlock kit makes certain that the utility power and the generator power aren’t on at the same time.

200AMP Panel Change

May 2016

This customer had an old 200AMP Federal Pacific Electric (FPE) panel in his home (left picture). These FPE panels ceased manufacturing in the 1980's due to circuit breaker malfunctions. It was discovered that the circuit breakers wouldn't trip when they were supposed to, which prompted a law suit. We were called to replace it with a more updated, safer 200AMP panel (right picture). Many people still have FPE panels installed in their homes, and we recommend replacing them because of their safety concerns.

LED Retrofitting (MP Gas Station)

Mar 2016

We were called to upgrade the MP Gas Stations's lighting with LED light fixtures during their renovation process. To do this, we removed all of the high pressure sodium T-12 fluorescent bulb packs with new clean, efficient LED light fixtures. By replacing the old light fixtures with the new LED light fixtures, the owner of this gas station will be able to save on average a total of $230.00 to $250.00 a month on his electric bill. The canopy lights under the gas pumps were the ones using the most power. Before we replaced them, these had 500 watt high pressure sodium bulbs. After replacing them with LED fixtures, the canopy lights are only using 120 watts.
