Atlas Builders and Development elevated my backyard renovation project from satisfactory to superb. Upon nearing the completion of a pool installation with a different company, we began looking for contractors to turn our ground level patio into a deck. We were sure we wanted Trex decking, and Atlas Builders and Development appeared early in our search as a highly rated Trex vendor. From the very first meeting, Jacob’s commitment to excellence on our project was obvious. He arrived on time to our scheduled meeting, and he took time to visualize the space for the deck project. As we described our vision for the deck, Jacob listened intently and answered our numerous questions patiently and knowledgeably. I hired Jacob after interviewing five different reputable contractors to build a deck, two retaining walls, and stairs in my very steep yard in Highland Park. I spend a lot of time in my yard and had a very specific and detailed vision of how I wanted the project to come out, and it was clear from our meetings that Jacob would make the effort to get each detail according to my instructions. Jacob's bid was competitive and he was happy to work with me on sizing the job appropriately for our budget.
