Horrible experience. Absolutely DO NOT hire this guy to paint your house! He's not a professional painter. Porch should be embarrassed for letting this guy participate in their network. In fact, I'll never use Porch again after dealing with this shady character. You can paint your house better than this guy. First off, he only put one coat of paint on the house. He literally went out and bought the paint sprayer with the down payment money. How do I know that? Because, like all contractors, he left the trash from the box in my yard. Initially, he used the wrong color. I had to stop him, or he would've done the whole job wrong. He oversprayed and got paint all over the soffits. When I asked for the leftover paint, he basically brought back of bucket of paint water.

DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY. We hired George and family to stain our deck and they did an awful job, We have run spots on rails, rails that he says are stain and clearly no stain, uneven staining on floor deck, over spray on brand new house siding that now needs to be replaced. Color is all uneven. This company lies about what they can and will do for the customer, does not return phone calls, claims to take care of their customers and it is all talk. George Wharton and Company does not stand behind there work and no one should hire them for ANY type of work to be done. We had planned on having them do more construction work for us but after they screwed us over there is no way we will have them return and do it to us again. We are a Military/handicap family and can not afford to pay someone to do this kind of work. We now have to hire someone to come and re-do all the damage George Wharton has done here.

We hired George to paint the outside of our house. His team left the house unfinished with multiple places needing touch up. George didn’t leave the left over paint, and refuses to bring it back. He is now not returning our calls or messages. We had hoped to use his team for more work, but we will no longer be considering that.

Trash. Hired to stain a deck around our home, looks like pure garbage. says someone will come out, they never do. Excuse upon excuse. Ruined brand new siding with overspray. Said no payment until satisfied. Payment requested to cover expenses before finished. All around another b.s. contractor out to take advantage of good hearted people. Still not returning phone calls.
