The master bath in this custom home was remodeled after a leak was found in the shower. This required the complete tear out of the shower, prompting a full remodel. The layout of the bathroom was kept the same but a shower wall was replaced with glass to open up the space and provide more light in the shower. In addition, the wall in the water closet was tiled from the floor to the ceiling providing a dramatic accent wall. We installed Cambria countertops on the vanity and tub deck and LED up-lighting in the crown molding below the high curved ceiling.

We had the pleasure of working with this client who purchased this home as a newly married couple. A busy work life, two young kids and 15+ years later, they wanted to reclaim their space and have a bit of a facelift. Their original tub was shallow and not very functional, so we replaced it with a deep Kohler soaker tub. We added some modern fixtures that accent the glass tiled partition wall. We kept the existing tiled floors and blended the new materials to make a cool, modern and cohesive design. ​

This homeowner wanted a bright, classic, but elegant upgrade, incorporating both new and existing materials. We were able to achieve that by repainting and refacing her existing perimeter cabinets, and anchoring her kitchen with a beautiful new custom crafted island, with chiseled, rough-edged Cambria countertop. New hardwood floors, plumbing and lighting fixtures, hardware and paint were all added to give this kitchen a harmonious blend between edgy and elegance.

This homeowner wanted a peaceful yet posh feel to her kitchen. We modernized the space using light, neutral tones for cabinets and paint, but also added a bit of fun with a countertop that had a lot of movement. A little glitz was added with the glass hardware and chrome fixture, not to mention adding some detail and height with the crown molding up top.

We loved working with this client to achieve a very custom look and design. His love of cooking, collecting fine wines, and enjoying his amazing Lake Washington view inspired us to maximize every square inch of this Kirkland condo. We opened up the wall separating the family room from the dining room to give him more prep space and also created a cool, cozy lounge area for entertaining, wine tasting or hanging out with his young son. We painted the fireplace a darker color to add depth to the family room. Crisp, clean lines with pops of color for contrast, gave this space just the right amount of zest and balance.

We loved working with this family to achieve a floor plan that maximized their need for space- Cooking, entertaining, storage, and working became easier when we designed the island to be the focal point of the room, and yet a divider between the living and dining room. Warm, rich autumn tones were used to bring the space in and accentuate the cabinets and countertops. Lovely, spacious family living in the Northwest.

The first word out of our clients’ mouths was “open”. After listening to their preferences, we designed their master bath to take advantage of the lofty ceilings and sunlit walls. Soaring walls made for a dramatic design, but we also grounded the space by incorporating warm wood tones for the cabinets. We kept the design streamlined by using a linear drain for the open shower. ​To reconfigure this space, we gutted the entire bathroom and removed the shower walls to open up the floor plan. We installed custom bamboo closet cabinets with drawer dividers and pullouts, floating bamboo cabinets with under cabinet lighting, a large, recessed mirror with tile wrapping the exterior, and Quartz countertops with top mounted sinks. The flooring and walls have complementary colored 12” X 24” tiles. We installed in-floor radiant heating and a digital, 7-day programmable thermostat. The shower includes a shampoo niche, 1/2" thick glass shower partition, linear drain, wall-mounted body sprayers, hand held shower sprayer, and large rain head. In addition we installed a free standing bathtub and reused the frosted door from the previous shower to enclose the water closet.
