Deck Construction Fayetteville

We built a 9 level deck around the swimming pool. This deck project will completely encompass the pool, on the east side the deck will be ground-level and will be 14 x 35. On this side of the deck there were also be 3, 4 by 6 posts concreted in for the pergola. Then this deck will be connected to another deck on the south side of the house that is 33' x 13'. This deck will be connected to another deck that is 4' x 35' on the west side of the pool. Then on the North side of pool 7 by 16 there will be a landing that is roughly 5 foot off the ground and will connect with the East side deck with a set of steps this portion of the deck will also have a hand railing around it, and another deck underneath it for storage, this portion of the deck will also encompass the mechanical workings of the pool i.e. the pump. The portion of the deck on the North side will have to double doors that open up to a storage area underneath this portion the portion of the deck under the mechanical area of the pool will also have to doors that open. This portion of the deck will also be covered on the sides with 5/4 deck boards so you can't see underneath their. Next there will also be a section of deck that is 5 feet wide and 16 feet long that will connect to the back deck of the house. This deck will consist of multiple landings and we basically built at ground level. Only the portion of the deck on the North side will be about 5 foot off the ground which will be slightly above the height of the pool. We will use concrete where necessary and deck blocks when we can. The framing structure will be built on 16” centers and the 5/4 deck boards will be nailed down with ring shank nails. The payment schedule will be as follows, the material cost to start is $5341.16, the labor cost will be $5400 to be paid in two payments one paid upon halfway point to be determined by homeowner and contractor and the remaining half to be paid upon completion.

13 x 20 shed roof

Job Description 1: 13 x 20 shed roof over existing back deck. The roof will consist of a 3/12 pitch. The roof will receive architectural shingles to match the house. We will also install metal fascia. The soffit will be left uncompleted, to be finished at a later date. To support the roof we will use three 4 x 4's and one 4 x 6 cedar header. We will remove some deck boards and dig footings for the 4 x 4 supports.

Job Description: First, remove the Jacuzzi tub and install walk-in handicap accessible tub. Next, remove shower and install drain and supply lines for stack able washer and dryer. Then, install kitchen drain and supply lines on backside of bathroom wall. Next, remove a section of the carpet 10 x 10 and install ceramic tile. Then, install 220 outlet for electric stove. Next, install two base cabinets, one for the kitchen sink (single bay sink) and one with the three drawer lower cabinet. There will be roughly 9 feet of counter top, minus the width of the oven. Next, we will install upper cabinets covering the entire 9 feet of the wall. At this point the job will be completed. The homeowner will do any painting necessary. These costs do not include the stackable washer and dryer, the stove for the kitchen or the walk-in tub shower combo (handicap accessible).

Job description: Remove back patio tiles on upper deck, 4 foot by 24 foot wide. Remove 2 layers of Durock, 4 foot by 24 foot wide. Also, remove sub surface plywood underlayment. Remove all debris, haul away some to the dump. Next, repair floor joists and rim joist in damaged area. The area is roughly 3 by 4 foot. Next, install Advantech 50 year sub floor over floor joists. Then, install thin set and attach to Durock at a slight angle, sloping away from the house. Next, install rubber membrane over existing floor joist and secure with cap nails. Then, seal over cap nail heads. Next, install membrane tape over all joints of Durock. Next, spread Thinset Ultra Flex Two and set tiles to match close to the color of the existing tiles. Next, grout and seal grout joints off from moisture. At this point, the job will be completed.  The material cost is $1,289. The labor cost will be $2,786. The payment schedule is as follows: half to start the job and the other half to be paid upon completion. From start to finish, the job will take 7 to 8 working days. Total cost $4,075.00

Job description: Remove toilet, cabinets, sink and 5-foot shower surround. Also, remove the bathroom door to the kitchen. Next, remove tile from the floor and the baseboard. At this point, the only thing that will be left is 4 walls and floor. Next, install Durock for the new walk in shower and a pony wall. Then, move drain to the middle of the floor. Next, create a shower pan, tile shower and pony wall. The shower will also have a bench to sit on, the pony wall side of the shower, when the shower is completed and tiled. The glass company will be called to measure for the shower door and glass. Custom shower doors will be around $300 to $400 dollars. Next, install 2 by fours and sheetrock to close off doorway to kitchen. Texture both sides of the wall and install trim. Also, repair the wall behind the vanity. Next, install the new tile floor. Then, reinstall the trim around the bathroom and baseboard. Next, install the new cabinets and vanity. Then, reinstall plumbing under vanity, an outside hose bib. Hook up sink and faucet after the countertops are installed. The customer will do the painting. We will haul away all debris. The base material cost for the mechanical parts will roughly be around $900 dollars, plumbing, Durock, sheetrock, thin set, trim, etc.. The tile, toilet, vanity, countertop, faucet and shower valve will be paid for by the customer. The estimated cost for these things is anywhere from $2,000 to $3,000 dollars depending on what you pick out. The labor cost will be $6,171.00 dollars, half will be paid to start and half will be paid upon completion.

18 By 30 Deck Wooden the deck we'll go over the existing slab on the back porch. The deck will be 19 feet wide and 30 feet deep. The deck will consist of 2 by 6 and 5 quarter deck boards. There will also be a handrail at 42 inches on three sides of the deck. On the north, side of the deck there will be a 8-foot wide steps leading down to the backyard. On the east side of the deck a 3 foot opening to get to the yard. Pickets will be installed under the handrail all the way around on 4-inch centers.   The total cost of the job is 4560 dollars. The material cost will be $2160.00 dollars to start the job; the remaining balance will be paid upon completion.
