I recently hired Plekkenpol builders to do the construction portion of a home modification . I have a disabled daughter who is in a wheelchair and I can no longer carry her down our 12 very steep steps . She is also to big for me to lift in and out of the bath tub safely . I was in desperate need of a solution and Plekkenpol builders went above and beyond to make this happen . In order to have an inclined platform lift installed our stair well needed to be wider . Plekkenpol builders found a creative solution that worked and fit into our project budget . They also added a custom door next to my daughter’s bath tub so that I could have a ceiling lift installed . Plekkenpol builders paired with Access Lifts on this project . Both companies communicated and worked together to make this happen in a timely and efficient manner . I am beyond happy with the end result . This wasn’t a glamorous project but it makes life safer and easier for my family . I would like acknowledge Craig who made the project happen , Chris who spent many hours doing hard work , and Brian who spent a lot of time on making the area look nice and finished .
