Tenants in Deltona, FL, have been keeping an eye on problems outside their home, and they recently notified the property owners of the worsening condition. A homeowner in Melbourne, FL, has been dealing with a problematic water management system on her property. Water from the gutter downspouts would pool in several areas around the home. This water could easily seep inside, which greatly concerned the owner. She wanted to address this problem once and for all. One of our crews upgraded the system by connecting thick and durable 4” polyethylene pipes to the existing gutter downspouts. These pipes were placed in the ground for safety and aesthetic purposes. The new lines converged into one main line, which was directed to drain water at the edge of the front of the property. The end of this line in the yard was concealed by a YardWell outlet. The homeowner is pleased to have an updated exterior drainage system that will help keep her home dry.

A customer in Fort Pierce, FL, had horizontal and stair-step cracks along her exterior block walls. She was very concerned about the structural integrity of her home, so she reached out to Florida Foundation Authority for help. We permanently repaired her home with four Helical Piers. Our team drilled these piers down to more solid ground, attached them to the foundation, and hydraulically lifted the home to its original position.

Homeowners in Oviedo, FL, called Florida Foundation Authority with concerns about their sinking and uneven concrete slabs. They also were worried about water pooling around their home. One of our crews then installed new downspouts lines out to the street, and used PolyRenewal to lift, level and stabilize the concrete. In this particular case, it was able to lift the concrete about two inches! And we have seen instances where it lifted it much more. The homeowners are happy with the results, and they no longer have to worry about the tripping hazard or unsightliness of their sunken concrete or wetness around their home.
