David Lanni Construction

I regret hiring David Lanni as my contractor for my bedroom and bath remodel. I relied on his experience and word to help guide me in decisions that were made. Big mistake. The subcontractors did fine work, but the areas that were sub-par in my opinion was from David’s work and direction to his crew. David also wanted to be paid in full before the end of the project. Our project cost went from an estimate in the mid fifty thousand to the final cost in the mid eighties. That didn’t even include the cost of doors, some lighting, ceiling fan and various hardware that was ten thousand plus dollars. Issues: 1) Wall layout not even which shows up in flooring 2) Flooring not started correctly which resulted in some pieces being cut down to adjust for mistake 3) Different size nosing on stairs to adjust for mistakes 4) Flooring not installed per recommended method ( floated or glued, not nailed) which has resulted in squeaks 5) Plumbing trim under sinks don’t match 6) Finish on exterior of windows scratched 7) Windows not installed correctly per Milguard Siding repair where window was removed not done in manner which I would be proud of if I was a contractor. Damage to a blind we had installed. [we just wanted David gone by this time] The list could continue but what’s the point? These are my options for you to consider. I made the mistake by hiring David in the first place.

If you are looking for a remodeling contractor, I highly recommend David Lanni, owner of David Lanni Construction. David is professional, easy to work with, and very good at what he does. David does excellent work and I am very impressed with all the work he has done. Also, his showroom is gorgeous. Take the time to call David for an appointment to go take a look at it. It is definitely one of a kind. He has beautiful displays and so many products to pick from that are all great quality. I enjoyed working with him and his team!!! He does a lot of his own design work and comes up with awesome ideas where I was drawing a blank on what to do! He holds your hand throughout the whole project and guides you from start to finish. I definitely give David and his team an above average score.
