I inherited a house that hadn't been updated since it was built in 1960, complete with avocado colored appliances, and 65 miles away from my primary residence. Mike went above and beyond in so many ways, in addition to actually painting the entire house beautifully, inside out and top to bottom. He lightened my burden by communicating with other contractors and coordinating other services as well. If you want a thorough fellow with good communication skills and a kind heart, you just found him.

Charleston Custom Painters removed wallpaper from my plaster walls and painted 3 rooms (kitchen, living room, a bedroom) and a hallway and stairwell. They did an excellent job, cleaned up well, and kept me in the loop at all points of the project. The price was reasonable. Mike also did some carpentry for me, taking down some old paneling and putting a handrail on my stairs. Again a great job was done.
