This was a complete make over. We pulled out the Jacuzzi tub, took out the separation wall, shower and floor. Then we started building a new wall and new shower, deleting the Jacuzzi tub for good. Fitted with Laticrete Hydroban shower system. And to make this special we scribed the river rock into the floor tile.

We did a walkin shower with 12×24 tile and herringbone mosaic. And then a tub Surround with a 12×24 and nice mosaic with custom niche.

So we started out demoing Jacuzzi tube and shower, then floor and took out outside wall to install a door and small window. I hired all the help needed to complete this project, contractor's I know and have done previous work with so I didnt have to worry about poor workmanship. This was design on the fly so time wasnt really a factor. I built a curved wall and outfitted the walls and waterproofing with all Laticrete products. Added 3 niches and built in mirror. I installed a linear drain and river rock which were laid one rock at a time to get the best look possible. The reason why I install rocks one by one is to avoid seeing sheet lines. On the floor I did a herringbone pattern with a border. The client had tears of joy after everything thing was finished.

Client wanted to change out a white fiberglass shower pan because of a crack. I dry packed the pan, added slope and some river rock. All the rocks were set singlely to get the best looking result.
