American Value Kitchen Remodel | Jun 2014 | The customer had a 70's kitchen with plywood doors and cabinets. Over the years they go painted white. There was a lot of wasted space in a corner and they had an unnecessary doorway coming in from the dining room that took up valuable real estate in the kitchen. To keep the budget low, we installed American Value cabinets. High quality, lots of features, really low price. The grey is hot right now and looks great with her flooring and tile selection. We began by gutting the kitchen and closing off the dining room door. We widened the door to the den. Move the fridge and added a pantry cabinet. Though you can't see it on the photos, we added a built in desk and boxed in the fridge. New granite tops and tile backsplash finished off the job. One interesting note we've never come across is their cat is really smart and has figured out how to open the roll out trash bin. They put a child lock on the door but the cat's smarter than any 2 year old and has figured that out also. He reaches under the door and pulls it forward, then jumps to the countertop and pushes the child lock down and pushes open the door. AMAZING! I've told them then need to video this and put it on You Tube. | $21k | Charlotte, NC
From Pickled To Cherry | Jan 2013 | Customer was tired of the outdated pickled maple cabinets and the boring backsplash and wanted a change. We refaced in a cherry door with Pine cone stain. Recreated her raised molding look (which she liked) and tile her backsplash. The project was done on frameless cabinets so the doors are nice and tight, showing all doors and no frame. | $15k | Charlotte, NC
White Cabinet Spray Job | Jan 2013 | The client had white cabinets that were showing their age with some peeling and such. They also wanted to spice it up a bit by adding some glass doors. | $6k | Charlotte, NC
Pink Sinks | Jan 2013 | Customer had an old, outdated bathroom with pink sinks and an acoustic tile ceiling. It was time for a change. We gutted the bathroom and changed everything from the toilet to the shower and vanity. The vanity tops are a solid surface polystone with integrated sinks. We used frameless slider glass for the tub and drywalled the ceiling and added an updated, properly sized fan. What a difference!! | $14k | Charlotte, NC
Dark Contemporary Master Bath Overhaul | Jan 2013 | The customer just purchased this home and wanted the master bath updated. We gutted the entire bathroom and started over with the exception of the vanities which we reused by refacing them in a dark, contemporary RTF door. New granite vanity tops were added and we also added granite for the tub deck and tops for the shower. The tile looks like marble but is a ceramic tile. The frameless glass is open at the end with no door and niches inside the shower walls, finish it off. | $14k | Charlotte, NC
Cabinet Spray Job | Jan 2013 | The client had white cabinets that were showing their age with some peeling and such. They also wanted to spice it up a bit by adding some glass doors. Our first order of business was to spray the doors with a fresh white coat and also cover the cabinets in the same product. We don't use paint, but use a catalyzed product that hardens chemically over time and is much harder than paint. This should provide them better durability. We then added some glass doors to the uppers-3 in total (you can just see 1 in the pics). Then to upgrade the cabinet look, we brought in matching raised panel ends that we applied to all the ends of cabinet runs which gives the cabinets a much more custom look. Happy customer-job complete!! | $8k | Charlotte, NC
Solid Maple Stacked Uppers | Jan 2013 | The kitchen in this house was original and it was time for an update. The customer wanted an updated look and better floor along with more storage. We designed a new layout for the client, provided them 3D drawings and decided on a final design. We installed stacked upper cabinet to the 10 foot ceiling to provide a tall cabinet look and additional, low usage, storage. We move the fridge and changed out all appliances. The cabinets are solid maple, painted white and the customer couldn't be happier with the final results. | $22k | Charlotte, NC
Tub, Tile and Vanity | Aug 2013 | The bathroom was old and outdated. White, boring tile with some cracking issues. We put in a new granite vanity top, new tub and tiled the bath and floor. The end result was a completely updated bathroom. | Charlotte, NC
