About Sojo Design
Ten years ago, Sofia Joelsson, a Swedish native, came to America to pursue her passion for interior decorating. Today her company, SoJo Design LLC - headquartered in trendy South Beach (Miami, FL) - has exclusive clientele in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Monte Carlo, and St. Tropez. SoJo Design's appeal has been so successful that it has become commonplace for the firm to design three or four homes around the world for the same client. The company is known for having a very hands-on approach to interior design. A boutique firm of seven people, they are personally connected to every assignment from start to finish. At the infancy of every project, the Design Team will gather to discuss the client?s needs and desires. Once a clear vision has been established the members of SoJo Design peruse their CD collection to find a suitable generator for a design concept. For this cutting-edge group of designers music becomes an eighth member of the team. SoJo Design is a full service interior design firm that specializes in high-end residential & commercial build-outs and renovations. Their portfolio includes everything from high-rise condos and office buildings, to spectacular single family homes. Having cultivated a superb working relationship with some of the industry's most talented architects and engineers, the firm is able to handle the most complex of design challenges, most of which are self-imposed. From space planning to furniture and accessories selection, SoJo Design is there from conception to completion. The palettes of the young and savvy designers at SoJo Design are ever changing. From modern elegance to sophisticated glamour, color is a key component in their design as every room is given its own life. By carefully listening to what a client's own vision is, and what the space itself has to say, SoJo Design is able to implement a plan that is a harmonious balance of both. The SoJo Design Team are all self-proclaimed new product junkies, constantly combing design markets worldwide for new state-of-the-art materials and design elements. By offering clients lighting and audio-visual consultations, in addition to highly personalized layout and design, SoJo Design is able to tailor specifically to everyone?s needs. The goal ultimately is for clients to feel as comfortable and pampered in their homes as they would in a fine hotel.
