Having research a number of contractors in the Marietta, GA to remodel our Master Bath, I had called Quality Craftsmen based upon their reviews and warranty stated on their webpage. The first thing out of their reps mouth was what was my budget. I told her that it was a complete gut job and I need a quote. They schedule an appointment to come to my home and provide me with a quote. One day before the schedule appointment, the rep call and states that they are overbooked and cannot come. As I had stated in my original conversion with her that I could wait, if necessary. Evidently, they are only looking for $50K or better jobs. As a former purchasing professional, I had already estimated the job to be $25K to 30K which obviously is not large enough. I cannot speak to their work but as I had stated, as a retired purchasing professional, I know when I am being lied to. Their inside sales rep needs a lesson in how to elicit a response when qualifying a sales lead.

Zett and his crew did our basement Reno. They were very professional and helped create a lovely space. Would highly recommend them and use them again in the future.

Multi-Use / Universal Design Kitchen | Feb 2016 | This beautiful large kitchen project in Atlanta was designed to meet the special needs of the client within a very tight deadline. In addition to a complete remodel of the kitchen space which included re positioning appliances, refinishing the red oak hardwood floors, tiling, electrical work, and custom cabinetry of painted lacquered maple throughout, we needed to partially or totally remove 3 walls measuring 4', 8' and 12' for clearer sight lines and mobility requirements. The existing sunroom floor was ¾" lower than the kitchen, so this needed to be leveled and re-floored throughout. | $145k | Atlanta, GA
Marietta Law Offices | Feb 2016 | The concept for this 3 floor open office space was a challenge as the owners discovered that the building they had purchased was riddled with hidden problems: termite damage within the framework, handyman plumbing errors, drains that did not empty, incorrectly sized pipes, uneven flooring throughout, numerous serious electrical issues, non-insulated duct work, and a failing HVAC system that emptied into a 5 gallon bucket. With a hard deadline approaching for occupancy, the completed project now shows a cohesive open floor plan with conference areas, a large glassed-in meeting room, a communal kitchen, a whimsical coat cupboard that speaks to the owners' love of British television, and best of all, they know that all of the unseen, infrastructure issues are corrected and completely remedied. With an urban rustic feel to the office building, there is now a flourishing law practice on the upper floors, conference area on the middle floor and tenant space on the lower level. | $79k | Marietta, GA
Sunroom Addition, Flagstone Porch & Patio | Sep 2015 | Our clients had a very clear initial picture in mind of the finished product. As their plans evolved through the course of the project, we worked closely with them to ultimately achieve their vision. The spacious, new sun-room addition has a brick interior/exterior with a spruce tongue and groove ceiling, large picture windows, faux beams, and 7" engineered slat wood floor. We also installed a newer technology split heat and AC system for the sun room area which is less expensive than conventional systems and is perfect for this smaller area. The adjoining 12' x 16' flagstone patio is completed by hand-cut, dry-stack reverse arches, custom wrought iron railings, and provides softened sight lines from within the home and sun room. | $105k | Marietta, GA
Basement Beauty | Feb 2015 | For this project, we completed a full basement renovation, which included adding a new basement bathroom, television room, and office. Working with an interior designer, we paid particular attention to color co-ordination of walls, fabric, wallpaper, and tile selection. The result is a cohesive, professional renovation, which ties in seamlessly from room to room and to the remainder of the house. One of the challenges we encountered required that we completely level the concrete slab flooring, in particular where tile was laid for the bathroom area and at the base of the basement stairs. The wood grain tile at the base of the stairs gives the appearance of wood flooring without the upkeep that natural wood entails. We also stained the stair handrail to act as a color accent to the wood grain tiled floor. | $40k | Roswell, GA
Waterford Sunroom Addition | Dec 2014 | The original deck was a cloth and metal awning sunroom that was unusable during winter and extremely hot during the Atlanta summers. In this full design build project the dilapidated original structure was demolished and a new 14' x 24' 4-season sunroom was constructed in its place. A tongue and groove painted spruce ceiling complements the medium dark wood-style tiles. Since this room has direct access from the pool area to the remaining home, it was important for the client that clean-up would be minimal. | $61k | Marietta, GA
Curb Appeal - From Drab to Inspired. | Sep 2014 | This was a fantastic transformation to the curb appeal of the home’s front exterior – from tired and unattractive to warm and inviting. The improvements were not merely cosmetic; we encountered water damage that required repair and renovation of hardscaping as well as finding that the exterior chimney was detached and separated from the home. The entire front of the home was refaced and there was structural correction and re-positioning of the front windows. A new retaining wall and circular driveway was also part of the project. | $72k | Marietta, GA
Deck & Porch Renovation | Sep 2014 | The clients' requirements called for renovating a pre-existing desk, constructing a new lower level 12'x20' covered back porch large enough to accommodate a 10 person hot tub, and a 7'x8' grilling deck with steps and a landing to the back yard. We also had to construct and frame a 3 pitch roof with a vaulted panel ceiling. Some of the challenges included water drainage issues, which meant the height of the existing retention walls had to be raised as well as the need to re-grade the lower level soil. The new hardscape patio now correctly slopes and drains water away from the home | $65k | Woodstock, GA
Covered Outdoor Back Porch | Sep 2014 | One of the challenges of this new construction was working within the constraints of the property line and pre-existing hardscaped in-ground pool. The resulting outdoor porch features tongue and groove spruce ceiling, Trex Transcends composite decking, a custom component cabinet for outdoor entertainment, and custom wet bar. One unique feature is the small outdoor shower that we constructed for guest use of the pool conveniently tucked to the side of the spacious yard. | $45k | Marietta, GA
Marietta, GA - Bathroom Remodel | Aug 2014 | In updating this Marietta bathroom, we installed a herringbone pattern marble tile floor, a new granite counter top, and completely re-tiled the shower and replaced the previous old shower doors with clear, gold trimmed glass doors. None of the original cabinets were changed. | $20k | Marietta, GA |
