Flat Creek Golf Club Entertainment Area

Client envisioned a flagstone patio for table and chairs and a water feature that would create a space for relaxation with the sounds of falling water.

Dunwoody Country Club Flagstone Patio

Client needed an increased patio area for entertaining also had a severe drainage issue. The patio was increased and upgraded with flagstone with a stacked stone seat wall was added to define the space and add overflow seating. A dry creek bed and woodland plantings corrected the drainage issue and softened the size and rigidity of the hardscape.

Client needed much improved transition from house to back yard. The severe slope, along with erosion, virtually prevented the family from having any potential use of the area. In order to create addition space and transition, an Alan block wall and step system was introduced.

Gran View Subdivision firepit entertainment area

Client wished for a extended usable area adjacent to the deck and space down slope for entertainment and relaxation. An acid stained concrete patio was introduced for overflow seating and transition. Boulder slab steps along with boulder outcropping were constructed to naturally meander to a circular fire pit entertainment area and boulder seat wall below. The slope was stabilized by simple, naturalistic plantings and boulder outcropping.

Client requested extensive dry laid stone work with a Zen theme. The front entry area was enhanced with a stacked stone wall, stone inlaid detailing on the walk and landing, A dry creek bed and natural vanishing inlet was introduced to remedy a severe drainage issue as part o f an overall solution on both sides of the residence. Simple, naturalistic plantings completed the look. The sides and rear yard areas were very involved to handle the needed circulation and incredible water flow coming from the front yard. A cascading dry creek waterfall effect was introduced in back along with natural stone bridges and boulder walls. Stone patio and natural stone steps completed the effect.
