Dry-out required, installed 25 dehumidifiers, blowers and added HEPA air scrubbers after mold testing showed high levels of mold in the air.   | Santa Monica | Oct 2013 | Mold damage in home with high levels of air borne mold spores. The damage appeared as a small stain in the ceiling but cause health issues. We contained the work area before removal with polyethylene sheeting, HEPA air scrubber and more to prevent the rest of the house from being contaminated with toxic mold spores. After containment, we removed the mold damaged drywall, bagged the waste in sealed bags before taking the waste out. We dried the substrate with dehumidifiers and cleaned the work areas with mold inhibiting chemicals.
