Prompt Service Review: Scheduled an appointment two weeks ago to have our AC fixed. They scheduled me for 5 days later, then did not show up. Their guy Alex had evidently gotten sick. I gave the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled. Alex made the 2nd appointment for 6 days later with zero concern/ownership/apology for having me wait at home all day on his no-show with no heads up. When Alex finally came 6 days later he placed his work bag on our white chair and left a sizable stain for us to remember him by. He diagnosed that the problem is the compressor, which we know already, took my check for the appointment and left, saying that his supervisor would call me later to let me know my options and costs, and that THEN Alex could come back and pick up the portable unit to fix it [...?]. After two more days of no information from them, I called yesterday to ask for the $65 back as there's no way - even if I was willing to still be patient and work with them - that they can finish the job before I leave town. The aggressive Russian(?; thick accent) "customer service" woman (Irina) in their office was absolutely incensed by my asking for my money back and proceeded to strangely and unreasonably mock and argue nearly every sentence out of my mouth. She finally said the manager would call me back upon my insistence toward resolve. No one called. I tried again today, exactly 2 weeks after scheduling the first appointment... More crude and unreasonable Irina with promises of information at a later time. Three days after Alex finally showed up and I still can't even get them to tell me how much repairs are, or someone reasonable on the phone, or my money back. I'm a cool customer. Real cool. But these folks' behavior has been aggressively careless and, ironically, cold. The service has been anything but "Prompt." Don't put yourself through it. Best, BW PS It's worth noting that I'm not here to make anyone's life more miserable than theirs already is, but it feels necessary to warn others the level of systemic irrational misery with which the owners and operators of this company are [barely] functioning.
