I'm not one to typically write a review like this but I wanted to share my experience. I contacted Ascent roofing as well as some other roofing companies to estimate a complete 2 layer tear-off and replacement or an investment property we have. The owner, Brent Cornwell, personally came to do the estimate and to make the initial contact. Not only was he professional and knowledgeable he was also the most competitive price I received. He evaluated the condition of the trusses, sheathing and attic insulation to ensure no mold or water issues would result from the previously leaking roof and made suggestions for upgrading the ventilation system to keep it nice and dry. I had scheduled the job a few weeks out and on a Sunday we found out we had an opening the very next day (Monday) where they could possibly get the roof done. 1 Call to Brent and he had the materials arranged, on a Sunday, and the crew out the very next day to complete the job. I was VERY excited when I got to the job site after work and the property looked like no one had been there, the cleanup efforts were exceptional and the roof looked great. Brent followed up asking me to meet him at the property to do a final walkthrough and took me on the roof to show me the work that was completed, including some upgrades to meet current building codes. He was very proud of the finished product and so am I. I would highly recommend Ascent Roofing for any roofing, siding or window job without hesitation.

One of Ascent's technicians came out to our home for a roof and gutter tune-up and even though our roof was just put on in 2011 did a great job of identifying a couple shingles that had come loose (a small piece of one that had actually detached below a window from all the wind and rain lately), caulking some nail heads that must have originally been missed and resealing our windows in a few areas where it could have become an issue down the road. We had never done a tune-up before, but like the heating and air conditioning tune-ups it's probably something that makes sense every couple years to avoid problems. We had a leak in a roof before and that was no fun! We were referred to Ascent by a friend and for us, getting a contractor that answers the phone consistently or at least returns a call can be half the battle. They seem to have a couple people in the office helping out and who were all professional that we spoke with. Their roofer that came out was a really nice guy who helped explain a couple simple things he fixed and didn't try to invent a problem that wasn't there. He did let us know of their gutter guard product which is something I think my boyfriend will splurge for, considering how much he hates cleaning the gutters from the large trees that dump leaves and the helicopter things constantly. We'll definitely call Ascent for our roofing needs going forward and would eagerly refer them to friends and family.
