The wooden sill base (that was mounted to the concrete slab) beneath the threshold on our walk-in steel garage door has rotted and crumbled, and the entire sill/threshold was pulling away. I have removed it. Now I need the sill base replaced and likely a new threshold too. While he/she is here doing the repair, I may ask for a bid on replacing some of the door frame wood, which is also starting to rot away near the bottom where it meets the driveway asphalt.
