Clay at Long Electric took care of a complete electrical fixture/switch remodel of my parents home in Knoxville as well as installing a security system that went above and beyond what most people request. He personally oversees his jobs and sent fast, efficient electricians that helped my mom with selections for interior fixtures and patiently answered questions. I'm in the business of home technology and construction and know how to evaluate work and prices when I see it- Clay offered great value in terms of cost and performed service that I have rarely seen before. The lighting sensors and fixtures around the home were commercial grade and in many cases cost less than the home depot models. The entire home was changed over to LED and it didn't require any thought or effort on our part to select bulbs, cans, or trim rings. Clay provided it all. His attention to detail with technology included a security system we (and 911) can clearly understand. Most security systems, when triggered, send generic messages like 'zone 1 alarm' when no-body knows what zone 1 actually is. He took the time to label every item in the home so we know exactly what is going on when an alarm is triggered, e.g., dining room door is open, motion detector in living is armed, etc. Not only my parents, but also 911, any other occupants in the house, me living a few states away, and their neighbors and anyone within a football field of the home through sirens. Given the amount of break ins going on in the knoxville area, this is peace of mind and this kind of installation isn't something you get for $149 from ADT or any other internet provider. Too boot on the way out the door they noticed a broken conduit on the utility pole in the front yard, let us know of the risk, phoned the past grading contractor that worked on the property and got it repaired. There aren't that many contracts I'd trust with my parents in their home- Clay is the only one for good reason. After years of working with electricians building and renovating homes as a GC, I can tell you Clay is the best electical subcontractor I've worked with. I highly recommend him.

Long Electric Company is first rate. The guys are friendly and professional. I feel safe having them in my home. The arrived on time, and completed the job to perfection. I will definitely be using Long Electric Company for all of my electrical needs in the future.

Clay and DJ were wonderful, they came at the time that they said they would, Clay called before he came over, they cleaned up after they completed the job, and was very helpful in even recommending possible handymen for my other home projects. I plan to definitely use them again. Great job guys...
