About Kenneth Larsen Interiors
As a 3rd generation Master Carpenter, My expertise encompasses all areas of the construction industry. This exposure to the building trades began at the early age of 10 with the first job being the Livingston Mall where my father led a drywall crew this hooked me with a deep love for the trade and I never looked back. After finishing high school i went to work for a local re-modeler rather than the Union my family had grown up with. My skills sets grew greatly with such trade experiences as add on's and framing whole houses. From there my Union Education began ending up as the top of my class. As a journeyman carpenter I've worked on all kinds of projects from building Waste and Water Treatment Plants, bridges, damns, high rises, retirement villages, hospitals, banquet hall woodwork and more. My specialty and favorite things to do, the small retail stores my customers shop in. Biggest project was a $12,000,000, six story building in N.Y.C. but what got me there was the small jobs done perfectly. I did the finish work in California Pizza Kitchen, Willow brook Mall Wayne, N.J. without a punch list. I helped build the first 2 Hollisters stores in N.J. before they had settled on the final name. After years of working for others at the highest levels in my field the only thing left to do is build a successful business for my family. My pledge to all my prospective clients is simple. The highest level of craftsmanship at the absolute fairest prices. There will not be an unhappy customer PERIOD.

| Kitchen renovation | Mar 2016 | This project included removing existing kitchen cabinets. Remove existing soffits and all sheetrock. Remove existing insulation in exterior wall and ceiling. Install new drywall, finish and paint. Remove existing archway trim and replace with custom made matching cherry jamb and cherry moldings @ kitchen hallway and sheetrock other archways. finish all effected rooms as required. install new cherry window moldings and base molding made to match cabinets. Install new tile back splash after granite installation. Cabinets installed by seller on this job. Some extras on this one. We found 2 drywall ceilings and were not planning on insulation but it was very much needed. that was an up charge. However since installing appliances was also part of agreement I installed kitchen window trim and the base molding n/c. We didn't originally know if the window was covered with kitchen company. | 12 x20 deck resurfacing | Mar 2016 | Removed existing railing(not installed to code). removed existing 1/4 round molding. Removed and hauled away same day existing deck surface. Installed new solid Trex Trandscend series solid perimeter boards. Installed rest of deck using tiger claw hidden fasteners. provided and installed new blocking and hardware to reinstall railing to code. Replaced existing 1/4 round trim under perimeter boards. | Fireplace Mantel | Dec 2015 | Remove existing fireplace mantel. Build and install new solid oak raised panel mantel. The unit spans 6' wide and 12" tall. Built of solid red oak it has five raised panels framed by 2 1/2"x 3/4" solid red oak. Finished with a simple square edged 3/4"x 8" solid red oak board as the top. | Solid oak dresser | Nov 2015 | Solid oak dresser, part of a complete custom bedroom set. This project will be built and installed in pieces. The dresser was the first to be completed. The drawers are made of solid 1/2" oak. The drawer glides are Accuride full extension 18". The side panels are made from 1st grade premium 3/4" oak plywood and the top is made of two pieces of solid 3/4" oak boards. Trim pcs are solid oak as well as the knobs.
