I am currently renting from Voepel and have had issues since moving in. The biggest problem was that the home smelled likes feces constantly and always had issues with backups. I would put in maintenance requests and given the run around. 9 months later, the plumber (maintenance man) they had came to fix the issue and installed a new sump pump. The smell went away but not long after that it rained and the basement flooded. Many of my items were ruined. The plumber came and drained the water. They had a foundation expert come in and immediately told me the plumber had not done the previous work correctly and that’s why it flooded. I informed Voepel my items were ruined because of their employee and they said they had no culpability. Call my renters insurance. Smh they wanted to send the plumber back out to fix the problem that he had caused. I told them i would rather have the foundation expert do the work (he had informed me when he left he would be fixing everything). They told me that wasn’t an option. Their maintenance man would do it. He returned and cemented this piece back in. It rained again and pipes are now broken and water comes in the basement. I called the emergency line and no one has responded. This was Saturday and it is Thursday. Water is still gushing in and just luckily is going down a hole. Last night the electricity stopped working in my bedroom and it’s not doing anything when I flip the breaker but spark. I’m sure no one will respond to that maintenance request either. Avoid this company at ALL COST!!!

Voepel is a big rip off they will not be fair about anything! They had rigged up my furnance up and I had gotten 3 high electricity bills over $ 200 each they said they would assist me with bills that I already paid for and they only credit my account $100 do not deal with this company you will be sorry. They claim the wiring was done by the old property maintenance company which they are one in the same they just changed their name because they had a lot of bad reviews with Plutus Property Maintenance,

They told me to bring in my down deposit and by the time I got there someone else had already signed. It was less than 24 hours before they signed it to someone else. Absolutely shitty service.
