The moment they received the word from my home warranty company, they called me directly to verify the appointment. Then he offered strategy in the meantime for my fridge until he could get there. He only asked me 3 questions and knew right away what the problem was. The over the phone diagnosis is key to helping wait for the appointment time. He also seemed completely professional and exact.

I'm a nurse who was recently divorced and I moved my 5 kids into a house about a month ago. It is an older house, which is why I insisted on a home warranty. When I went to boil water after work a few weeks ago, the stove started making the clicking noise for the burner to ignite - but it wouldn't stop. I turned all the knobs to make sure they were off, and I took off the grills on top to see if I could see which burner it was coming from. I couldn't tell, & I could also smell gas. I shut off the gas and the next day I filed a claim with my home warranty company. The technician came out, he was extremely rude the whole time he was there & then he told me I would need a few parts ordered and he could be back in a few days with them. I paid him the $100 deductible. Later I hear from my warranty company that the claim was denied because the technician wrote on the order that my stove was "disassembled". So turning off the gas and taking off the top grills is disassembling it now?? I called Electra back and the guy I talked to said, "I just have one question, who took the stove apart?" I told him that all I did was take off the grills and the technician took apart the rest of it and his exact reply to me was, "you're full of it." He then proceeded to argue with me about how I am lying. I have absolutely never had worse customer service in my life. I am frustrated and very upset. That technician could've ordered the few simple parts that probably cost less than $10 and switch them out, but instead he decided to write false information on the order so that my claim was denied. Maybe it was too far of a drive for him, maybe he didn't feel like doing the work, I'm not sure. But be very careful using this company because they like to cheat people & then accuse YOU of lying.

Horrible experience. They did NOT even touch the washing machine but Did take our money. I'm 7 months pregnant and washing clothes by hands because I was not here when they came so they took the money from my grandma and didn't fix the washer. When we called them later they said that they can come again but Will charge as a new visit. I don't understand why since they didn't do the job at the first place! :-(
