Dear Tom, Lisa and I just wanted to say thanks for a great job with our Bathroom Remodel. As you know we had a tight deadline with visitors arriving for the Holiday. You said you could get the work dont on time and you finished as planned with excellent work. For anyone interested in having work on your home, we would offer our strong encouragement to work with Tom Carmichael and his team at Discount Contractors. We contacted Tom one month before Christmas. We had relatives visiting for the Holidays and we wanted to remodel our bathroom before they arrived. We had a general idea of what we wanted to do, but had no idea if we could get it done. Tom assessed our needs, made a few great suggestion and we agreed upon a plan. We worked up a contract with some general estimates and he gave us names and address to a couple of his suppliersGranite and Tile. Tom allowed us to shop and find the tile and fixtures we wanted. He had a Cabinet supplier who met us and customer made our Vanities based on our specifications and design ideas. The crews showed up on the day they said they would, began the work on time, and they kept the dust and construction activity out of our view. Even with some fixtures that were delayed in delivery due to an ice storm, they worked with the challenge and continued the work while waiting. The new room looks great. The cost was right in line with what we agreed. We met our deadline and our Holiday visitors are very impressed with our Wonderful new bathroom. If you have a project you need done with your home, I strongly recommend you give Tom a call. On time, As ordered, On budget and excellent workmanship. Cant expect anything more! We have an older house in Memorial and wanted to get our 2 bathrooms updated. We met Tom at the home show and had hem come give a price to remodel both bathrooms. We wanted to take out a wall in the master and make the shower bigger. We also wanted some custom stained vanities in both bathrooms. The ones we had are an odd size and we couldn't find anything that would fit. Tom brought over Rorque the cabinet guy and he looked at some pictures my wife had of what she wanted. We got the prices for everything and felt like we wanted Rorque to build the vanities because of his high quality even though is was a little more that we wanted to spend. These vanities are like furniture up on legs with a lot of fancy detail. Tom took care of everything. We really like Tom and knew he would do a very high quality job which is what we wanted. We had a bad experience with another contractor years ago not doing quality work in our kitchen and taking forever to finish. I am a lawyer and had to threated the contractor to get him to complete my kitchen. We met with Gregario his crew chief and Rorque the cabinet man. We went over the work and signed the contract. Gregario is just awesome. The guy works very hard every day. The vanities came out perfect in both bathrooms. We could never buy the kind of quality Rorque produces. We just couldn't be happier about how the project went. If we ever had any questions or concerns Tom would come right over. He always answers his phone. We never had to worry about contacting him. The price was fair and work impeccable. What else is there. This is the most professional contractor I have ever dealt with. My wife just thinks Tom walks on water. He gets things done. I will be calling him after the first of the year to refinish my wood floors. We are so glad we found Tom and Discount Contractors. Thanks again Billy and Danette Payne

I found Tom and Discount Contractors off the internet. He lives in my area so I had him come out and look at my 2 bathrooms that I wanted to remodel. I had talked to several contractors before Tom came out. He set the appointment and confirmed it before he came. He was right on time. I had several contractors not even call me back or show up after they made the appointment. I had small room and porch put on my house last year but the project that was supposed to take 6 weeks went on for 6 months. I wanted to make sure I didn't have that experience again. I am very busy at my work and don't have time to even pick out tile. I really felt comfortable with Tom. He is very professional. He looked at the 2 bathrooms and gave me the price. It was a little higher than one of the other contractors but the other guy was already playing games with the price he had quoted me. I decided to go with Tom and Discount Contractors. He told me I could trust him and I did. He brought over Gregario who was the crew chief doing the work. I felt very comfortable with him also. He really helped me with my tile and paint colors. A couple of weeks after I signed the contract the job started. The first bathroom was complete within 5 days. These guys don't mess around. They worked hard and cleaned up every day. They covered my floors where they were walking with tarps. The next week they started on the master bath. It was complete in 7 days. Bigger project. I can't tell you how beautiful my bathrooms are. I am so proud of them. I am so happy Tom did the work. I never had to worry about anything. I was glad to pay him when he was done. It's the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. Tom was referred to us by a friend. Tom had remodeled 2 of her bathrooms and she was very satisfied with the work. We had several projects to do and tight budget. New kitchen cabinet, wood flooring and painting. We met with Tom and were very impressed by everything he had to say. He gave us a price on the spot. We had several other contractors out buy we didn't feel comfortable with them. We wanted to do business with someone we could trust. We called Tom back and had him bring out Rorque the cabinet maker to finalize the project. My wife and I just love Rorque. He is quite a craftsman. My wife really felt like Rorque new exactly what she wanted in the kitchen. We made a deal and signed the contract. It took about 6 weeks to start the job. We thought the kitchen would be torn up for 6 weeks but after about 3 weeks it was complete. Rorque and his wife make a great team. There is nothing we would change about our kitchen. Feranando the wood installer also did a great job. He was very professional also. We couldn't be more pleased with all the work that was done on our house. Everything was first class. I found Discount Contractors on the web. I was looking for a reliable contractor to work on my master bath. I wanted to make a shower out of my bath tub. I had hired a contractor to build a vanity and put granite on the top. It took them 2 months to complete the job. They were not professionals. I didn't want to go through that again. Tom was right on time for the appointment and after going over the work he gave me the price. I could tell Tom really knew what he was doing. I had several other contractors out but no one gave me a price on the spot. In fact 2 of them never came back or even gave me a price. The price was very reasonable and I work out of town during the week so I wanted someone I could trust to do the work. Tom brought the guys over and we went over the job. The whole job took 5 days. The crew worked hard. My shower is just beautiful. I am so glad I hired Discount Contractors.
