Mold, mildew or scum build up, Runs for a few minutes then kicks the breaker in the plug. Inherited this feature when I bought house last year. It worked for a while but then started doing this. It was a koi pond and now no longer have fish in it. Upper pond is about 175 gal with waterfalls down to lower pond that has about 300 gal capacity. The recirculating pump is in lower pond and sends water up into a holding basin with waterfalls that flows into upper pond.
Mold, mildew or scum build up, Lime or other mineral build up, It is dirty and needs to be cleaned out and pump needs to be really cleaned up and screens around the pump need to be redone
