Richard did not actually do the work, but had an assistant do it. The two of them came to my house to look at the job and then Richard left soon after and did not return. The work the assistant did was good but what they didn't tell me was that the toilet would likely come loose again and would need to be tightened after a few days. Not only did Richard not tell me this, but he refused to come back and tighten the toilet. He does not keep his appointments. He cancelled the first appointment, then showed up late for the second - where the assistant did the work. I made a third appointment to have him come back out to finish but he cancelled with a dubious excuse. The fourth appointment he didn't even bother to cancel - he just didn't show up! He finally answered my texts and calls over 2 hours after he was supposed to be at my house with a one word answer: "sick." If you are too sick to let your customer know you are not coming, you had better be in the ICU. The third appointment he cancelled was on a Friday and I got the feeling he just did not want to work on a Friday, After the following Monday when he did not show up, didn't contact me and didn't answer when I tried to contact him, I could only come to one conclusion: he had already gotten his money and could not be bothered to finish a job he had already been paid for. I am also a single female and in the short time he was in my house, he managed to make a creepy sexual "joke." Lowe's, there are plenty of honest workmen out there so don't waste my time with lizard people like this guy.
