Full lower level remodel after 17" of water inundated home during tidal surge from Hurricane Harvey. The project consisted of reinsulating exterior walls, framing, modifying bedroom, adding hall with exterior door, modifying closets, one of the modifications to the closet became an Onyx Systems Walk in custom shower with integrated tile. The secondary lower level Restroom was also renovated utilizing Onyx materials in surround and vanity top. Custom cabinets were installed to utilize dead space beneath stairs, by modifying these wasted areas of space we gained garage storage as well by duplicating the same cabinets in the garage side of staircase. The interior cabinets were then Stained by a professional on our team(Patrick), the existing staircase carpet was then removed and through the creative eye of the homeowner (Trish), we installed .50 mil vinyl plank flooring, custom stair riser staining and painting was then integrated by my staff of seasoned painters,(Heather and Patrick) they handled all of the tape,float,texture ,prime and paint.This flooring was installed throughout all lower levels of home with no transition points at door ways to create a seamless flow from room to room. I personally installed all floors, doors, all base trim and any other finish carpentry items. The Onyx Shower and Tub Surrounds,tile and niches were installed by myself as well.....Id like to say that ,though this was an undertaking after a disaster and through the personal loss of a good friend,mentor and business partner " It was a labor of love". Our Customer Trish maintained faith in us and our crew completed her project,( her vision) and that makes us all proud. We are thankful. I too was a victim of the disaster (hurricane Harvey). We all lost a lot at the end of Trish's I realized by helping her and the other customers in Port Aransas, Tx. I had helped myself. Although something indescribable to outsiders happened to me and the client and many ,many residents and land owners in Port Aransas, Tx. at least in our case..."It was as if nothing ever happened".........
