Fully Louvered Shutter

Apr 2015

This was a tough window because the arch portion on top was much bigger then the legs below. The job required several phone calls and emails with the manufacturer to work through the specification issues - and then, some extra install work - but the end result was - one of the nicest looking street facing windows in the neighborhood - in our opinion.

Solar Shades in a Chuck E. Cheese

Feb 2015

Chuck E. Cheese is building a new location in our area and we were fortunate enough to be tapped for the solar roller shade project. In this case, we actually used existing blinds from another one of their stores and had them reworked and re-purposed for the new store. This process required collecting the blinds, shipping them to the manufacturer in another state, providing new measures and specifications, and then receiving and installing the solar roller shades. The re-purposed roller shades were outfitted with the latest and greatest pull chain technology for child safety and were tested for performance. Interestingly, the new job called for 11ea windows to be covered but we only had 10ea blinds to rebuild. Luckily, we were able to create an exact match for the 11th roller shade, and the end result was that it is impossible to tell which blind was the new blind. A truly remarkable outcome with great effort on the part of our manufacturer. The pictures are from the completed install. The restaurant was still under construction at the time of the install so the imperfections you see are actually very dirty glass - the blinds were flawless.

Tucson Shutter Project

Jan 2015

We recently completed a beautiful shutter job in Tucson Arizona and we thought you might enjoy seeing some of the pictures. This particular job utilized a medium "z" frame in a light shade of white. The customer opted for a split tilt option - meaning that they can open the top and leave the bottom closed or vice-versa. Additionally, they decided to utilize a 3.5 inch louver to match the dimensions of their windows and rooms and then choose the hidden tilt feature - meaning no center tilt bar is present in the panels. Our install team did a great job installing this job onto french door trim and into block with steel headers. Despite all of this detail and extra install consideration, the job was executed flawlessly and the results were amazing. Another happy customer - and a very satisfying experience for our team.
