John's Landscaping and More

IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO KILL YOURSELF FOR BEING STUPID THEN HIRE THIS GUY!!!! This project is a NIGHTMARE. He started this projec the the last week of March and it should have run maybe a week. I am now writing this on 7-12-14, YES THAT IS RIGHT, 15 weeks latter and the work is still not done. He has torn up my yard, his truck, yes that is right he only has one truck, has leaked oil on my new concrete driveway and sidewalk along with my grass and the street infront of my house. He does not have any up front money for the job. The home owner has to buy the materials such as the block wall, the new dirt and the gravel as this contractor cannot get credit with his suppliers. I have given him money to buy material and he did not use it for that. He told me he needed more because he used that money to buy medications for hims self. He does not answer his phone or return text meassages in a timley fashion if at all. His crew consist of himself, his girlfriend, her sister and the sisters boyfriend. He can not tell the truth about anything if he had to. He has told me that he could not work because it is raining out and it was not raining anywhere in the state of Iowa. (Besides that if you work in landscaping or yard work some days you might get wet!) If he did not like to work in the weather he should find a differant line of work is my feelings. He has left me with a mess in my yard for the entire spring season and now all of the summer so far... My advice to anyone would be do not call this number and run to the next contractor and get a bid from them as fast as you can.
