Thanos Remodeling is a full service remodeling company serving the Washington DC Metropolitan area since 1990. Mr. Thanos has worked in the construction industry for over 32 years. After completing a 4 year apprenticeship program with Associated Builders and Contractors, he worked as a union carpenter for 7 years and then established Thanos Remodeling in 1990.

We have hired Thanos Remodeling for window and door replacements and a complete kitchen renovation. Ted has been easy to work with, and we have always been happy with the quality of the work.

I was fortunate to have a neighbor recommend Ted Thanos to me when our family relocated to the area four years ago. Our "new" 1960s home needed extensive remodeling and the work had to begin before we could even step foot into the home. Ted replaced 60 windows, added closets, remodeled the kitchen and master bath, and helped us with numerous smaller house projects. His estimates were precise, his work was completed in a timely manner, and of high quality. We are currently adding an addition to our home, which we have again entrusted with Thanos Remodeling. I highly recommend Ted's services.

I have used Thanos Remodeling for all 3 of my homes. Each with their own unique style, Ted, the owner, has saved me lots of headaches when it came to the redesign of my rental homes, and my own home. He did a complete renovation of one place that made me want to move in! His team has also help me select what's best for floors, kitchen appliances and bathroom fixtures that meet my budget.
