Absolutely shady (my opinion)! Their MO: Offer you a flat rate initially. Mover (L) shows up, take a brief look, then states, this can't be moved for the initial price offered. They don't consider the misleading "flat rate" at all. I think even if you only had 4 boxes to move, they still would try to find a way to get more money out of you! I had to hire someone from Takl (because they left behind a good amount of stuff) to finish the job. Which the gentleman from Takl did not complain not one bit, and was pleasant. My opinion, this company is very shady, and I would never use their services again! This place should be shut down immediately!!!!

Wish I had read the reviews before engaging their services. Let me start with what was great. The actual movers were very professional, very pleasant and very good at what they did. Here’s where I ran into problems: DO NOT AGREE TO ANY OFFER FOR FLAT RATE!!! I was quoted 3 men 3 hours, $360. Every extra hour thereafter was $120 an hour. I agreed to 3 hours. They came and saw how much stuff there was and said it would be a lot longer than 3 hours I’d be better off going flat rate which would be $850. I trusted there evaluation of the work, so I agreed. Well 4 hours later they were done. So instead of being out just $120, for 1 extra hour, I end up being out an additional almost $500. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. It reeks of scam! Personally, given what happened I would never use them again no matter how good they are. If you agree to hourly, chances are they’ll work slower to squeeze as much out of you as they can, so either way you’re pretty much screwed. Had they at least agreed that they woefully overestimated the amount of time necessary to complete the work and offered to adjust the price I would not be writing this review and I’d have had money left to provide a tip. With what happened there was no tip. If you do decide to use their services, Negotiate a flat rate before they arrive at your location with a proviso that if they criminally overestimate the time necessary for the job, the agreement reverts back to the the earlier hourly rate. Lastly, on my job, apparently the owner of the company was present. He never identified himself as such and let one of the others set the “flat rate” price! Not my idea of above board transparent way to conduct a reputable business. Buyer beware!!!

If I could give them one star I would. The movers drank my alcohol while moving me. They came in a smaller truck and made 2 trips and then claimed they had to come finish the next day despite my move being urgent as I was leaving an abuser who didn't know I was leaving - and ASAP KNEW THIS. They broke MANY of my items, complained about how heavy the boxes were and requested cigarettes and drinks while at my house. They changed my billing to a flat rate - and then NEVER CAME BACK OR REFUNDED ME....so theymoved HALF my move. and kept ALL my money. Total jerks. The owners did not care.

I would also like to add Jay just kept asking me “what we were going to do for him” and that “he took care of us and don’t tell his other workers because they be snitching” WHAT AND WHO are y’all hiring?!?! I am a lesbian so having 4 not so friendly looking and honestly coming off a bit aggressive is just not the type of family business i thought this was....i thought the truck would say ASAP MOVERS as it does on their website....but it doesn’t. They rent trucks that they barely know how to use. PLEASE do not use this company. Save yourself the time, stress and extra money. I’m in the process of seeking legal help because i had ample boxes with Fragile written on them and they were all broken and of course because they pocketed an extra $140 dollars. This business isn’t what they say they are from top to bottom.
