Renovate and remodel an existing log home in order to give it a more modern feel. We added stained barn siding to the ceilings, cedar trim to rooms, added a custom build stairway to basement with a custom stain to match the solid oak flooring, completely remodeled kitchen and laundry room, added a deck, installed new windows/doors, installed solid oak floors throughout, and painted.

We power washed the exterior and decks. We scraped peeling areas, replaced rotten fascia boards, and spot primed with Sherwin-Williams Exterior Oil Primer. We applied 2 coats of Sherwin-Williams Woodscapes Solid Latex stain to body, trim, and deck railings/spindles. We applied 2 coats of Sherwin-Williams Superdeck Solid Latex stain to all deck surfaces. We applied 2 coats of Sherwin-Williams Resilience Exterior Satin Latex paint to downspouts, gutters, and doors.
