Alaska Best Home Services

Alaska Best Home Services is a company in the General Contracting, Construction (Repairs & Remodeling), Landscaping, Handyman, Lawn Care, Winter Management, and other services in the Residential and Commercial industries. We have a combination of about 9 years of experience, of which the last 5 years, was completed while serving in the unique Alaskan environment in Anchorage AK. How we came about: My son and I had worked side by side for 2 years in the industry and he excelled in and loved what he did. His mother and I had spoken with him frequently about opening a business and he would become the main owner. Since his passing in 2015, we began preparing to start the company and did so in 2016. We are now proud to say it is in his memory, "Colt Buffkin", that we have launched. Alaska Best Home Services will do absolutely everything in our power to ensure the accomplishment of high-quality successful projects for our clients and lock in our son's legacy. We created the Company as a "Partnership". My wife, Colt's mother, Bonita and I, are equal partners. At this point in life and business, cumulatively, in addition to construction, we have almost 50+ years of business experience between us, and an additional 39 years of Military and Civil Service experience in the execution and accountability of major programs/projects around the Globe. We are extremely excited about the opportunity to share our experience through this venture and maximize the impact we know it will have, while helping so many others in our community and around the state with their projects, no matter how large or small.
