  | Deck Rebuild | Apr 2016 | Our main goal with this project was to strengthen the platform and handrails. We added 4x4 posts between the exsiting posts to support the center of the far spands and replaced exsiting posts to expand higher for attaching handrails. Added 2x6 joists every post for strength from front to the back of the platform. Then built handrails that attached to the anchored posts and ran some pickets the whole langth of outside edge. It cost a little under half of the estimated total for materials and completed project in 3 days with only 2 men. | $3k | Afton, NY |
