Having a problem with your paint rollers drying faster than you can use it? Painting is one of the most common DIY projects and can be a way to improve a room. But very often you need to stop painting to let the wall dry and if you leave the roller brush out, it dries as well. If you’ve ever tried applying wet paint to a dried out roller brush you know that it makes for a terrible job.

Fortunately there is a really easy way to keep paint from drying out on the roller.

Step 1: Remove the roller (wear disposable gloves if you don’t want your hands to get messy)

Step 2: Insert the roller cover into a chip can (make sure you remove the chips first!)

Step 3: Put the lid back on the can (if you’ve lost the lid, use a piece of plastic wrap and secure it tightly with a rubber band)

Even after three days our roller brush was still wet and ready to use! For more video how-to’s check out our videos here.
