Bad results had nothing to do with wood. You did not do any prep, even cleaning the porch floor of slug remains. The streaks and blobs had to do with applications. Paint can said not to use roller. As for the treads, you cut 3 of the boards short - no fix for that. I will have to have the stair post redone by someone else to stabilize it. I will have to do another coat on the column bases. You did redo those. Too bad you didn't do them right the first time. There is absolutely no explanation for the poor work you did.

Excellent repairs to our wall. The kids pulled too hard and a hole was created. Bill and Jacob did quick work in fixing the hole and even repaired some minor damage done by the shower curtain bar. They were courteous and efficient. Thanks The Handy Hammer...job well done!
