The clients wanted a pristine, tailored look for their home. The house was designed to welcome you in with a gracious foyer that leads to the formal living room to the left and dining room to the right. A lounge, where family watches tv, sits at the very end of teh home off the living room. The public rooms, are all about being seductive, which was accomplished by using black and smoky gray palette with silks and cashmere fabrics. The only curves that catch the eye are the rounded arches between rooms and the overscale art. The original architecture of the building was respected by keeping the leaded-glass windows, which provide an elegant framing to the views. The square-on-square panes are in visual harmony with the 90 degree angles of the contemporary furnishings.
