Established in 1985, we are a full-service design + build firm specializing in high-end residential interior design. Our projects range from remodeling condominiums to estate homes. We have many boutique projects that may focus on a few impactful elements of design change, or more expansive eco-efficient interior spaces and, if desired, create homes our clients' will enjoy in their "sunset years" (Aging in Place). We are also known for our whimsical, yet functional pet-friendly design that is seamlessly incorporated into our clients' remodel or new home. With many of our designers holding numerous certifications from the National Kitchen and Bathrooms Association (NKBA) and/or members of the prestigious American Society for Interior Design (ASID), we have showcased prominent, high-end interior design projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. We offer our clients assistance in all phases of residential interior design: selection and purchasing of cabinets, surfaces, fixtures, flooring, lighting and furnishings; remodeling and new construction, project management; and, complete furnishing and final installation. Our team of employee owners works collaboratively with several premier architects, engineers and key wholesale contacts in the textile, appliance, and furnishings industries. Are we a good fit? Designing The Elements First, we'll meet and discuss how you and your family want to live in and around your home. We'll explore your daily activities and any special life considerations that are relevant to how your home functions. We will then explore your design tastes, perhaps by together studying magazines, books and other resources as we develop ideas. We will develop schematic drawings, floor plans, and assist in selecting colors, materials and timeless design details/accents. In addition to resolving your home's functional issues, we will translate your personal style of your home through thoughtful space planning and finish choices. Designing Your Budget Dreams and budgets sometimes don't match. Our job is to do both, providing guidance on reaching your dreams, while respecting your budget. We will assist you with modifying the project to align your needs and desires with your budget. We help design your budget by considering structural, financial, and design elements simultaneously. We go beyond generic estimating practices and study the unique issues related to your particular home and site. Our approach enables you to establish and work within the budget in a shorter timeframe than the standard practice of hiring separate firms for design and construction.
